Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation (OCRF) has amassed big support in the community thanks to their instrumental partnerships. Here’s what you can learn from them.
It warms our hearts when people and organisations from different communities unite behind a good cause. And this is the exact effect that OCRF has with their ambition to fast-track early detection for ovarian cancer. When we first partnered with OCRF, we were impressed to see their growth over the years and the powerful collaborations that propel their mission forward. Leading these integrated partnerships is a vantage point that all businesses can learn from. See for yourselves:
OCRF x Witchery
One of Australia’s leading fashion brands and retail, Witchery serves as one of Foundation’s Premium Platinum Partner. Witchery’s major fundraiser White Shirt Campaign sees Witchery customers buy a white shirt from any of their 200 stores in Australia and New Zealand. The revenue made from their white shirts, Witchery donated the entire amount except GST to OCRF, totalling $1.6 million for their 2016 campaign. A great win that Dando celebrated at OCRF and Witchery’s Silver Style cocktail party last month.
OCRF x oOH!media
oOH!media is a media support partner of OCRF, providing Out Of Home (“oOH!” – get it?) media throughout leading networks in Australia and New Zealand. This year, oOH!media sponsored billboard and other outdoor advertising spaces for OCRF’s Frocktober campaign. Supporters are asked to frock up their outfits every day throughout October, and host an event to raise funds for OCRF. The effort helped to raise over $300 thousand for Frocktober in 2016.
OCRF x Dando
Dando is honoured to collaborate with OCRF as a Creative Support Partner. We had the privilege of reinventing their website from a dated and glitch-y grid design, to a beautiful and responsive one that is easily accessible on desktop and mobile devices. What you see on their website today is a brilliant product of an integrated and powerful partnership, where we worked closely with Foundation co-founder, Liz Heliotis and OCRF champion Jane Strangman throughout the project.
Meeting the amazing supporters of OCRF at last month’s Silver Style cocktail party further ingrained the real value of collaborative and long-term partnerships. It is these partnership power plays that keep us motivated and inspired to not work for our clients, but along side them to get them real outcomes for their business.
